About Us

We are a Christian based company that welcomes EVERYONE.  With three locations in Ashtabula, Ohio; Glasgow, Virginia; & Amherst, Virginia.  We provide some of the largest woodsball fields in Virginia and Ohio.  We also have a mobile speedball field (Virginia only) that can go off site to handle events.

We also have a store in Madison Heights, Virginia (just outside Lynchburg next to Subway).  Our store has a great variety of everything paintball.  We now also carry a wide variety of airsoft products as well.

Our staff has played and ref’d paintball for years.  We have a extensive training process to ensure that each referee knows how to handle the very complex game of paintball.  Our staff includes several former military service members.  Our Vice President, Jason Keeler, served with the 101st Airborne for 5 years and spent two tours in Iraq including Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Jason experienced combat first hand in Iraq and his expertise has been critical in the design of our playing fields.  We are proud of all the service members that help give us the added expertise on the tactical training uses of paintball & airsoft.

We have worked directly with the military (including special forces), Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Liberty University, Hargrave Military Academy (HMA), University of Virginia, ROTC programs & various law inforcement departments.  Our fields are designed for tactical real world training.  We are fully equipped to do off site training at your facility.

We believe paintball should be fun & competitive.  Because it is so easy to cheat in paintball, we are very strict on cheaters.  Cheating isn’t part of paintball, it’s what ruins the paintball.  If we catch someone cheating at our field they are banned for life.  We only have to ban a few people each year and everyone gets the message or goes somewhere else.  We pay special attention to how players act towards each other.  You do have to curse someone out to get kicked out.  The main focus is ensuring that players are being respectful in a potentially stressful environment.  This approach has helped us grow while other fields have decreased in attendance and/or went completely out of business.

Our scenario philosophy is to create fields that have fluid game play.  This style rewards the most active teams.  What point would there be to have a fort that is unbeatable?  Instead, we try to have a lot of larger bunkers with just 2-3 sides.  This means it’s impossible for 1-2 players to pin down an entire oppossing team.  By having larger bunkers it is easier to move up the field without having to dive and crawl up the field.  Instead of running and diving into a pron position a player can be standing while firing, thus making it easier to move up when the opportunity presents itself.  We do our best to have clean trails and shooting lanes, because nobody likes wasting paintballs shooting through a bush because that’s your only option.  By properly managing the brush/weeds it means that you shoot less paint saving each player money and making the game play more competitive.  Unlike some other fields we do not build “paint waster field” where you run to a bunker post up and shoot down field the entire game with no way to move up.  That’s not paintball, it’s target practice.  With the courses we’ve designed players have to constantly assess risk management and communicate with their teammates.  Adapting quickly to new information helps determine the winner.

We are an OPEN PAINT FIELD, meaning you can bring your own paintballs.  We’ve always felt that you shouldn’t have to throw away your old paintballs just because you didn’t use them all up at the last field you went to.  With that said if you’re comparing prices please keep this in mind.

We do ask that you not bring paintballs from department stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods or Wal-Mart.  The paintballs are generally made with a thicker shell because the paint has to sit in a series of warehouses before it ever gets to the store.  Needless to say they also hurt a lot more when they hit.  Since they often don’t break on impact you end up shooting a lot more paintballs to get the same player out, which means you really aren’t saving any money.  Buy it from us, buy it on-line, or from another field, but please don’t get it at a big box store.
